Terms of use
LogTriage is a free set of browser tools operated by Abdul Hannan, AH Digital Studio, Pakistan. By using the tools you accept these terms.
The tools, as-is
- The tools are provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. Processing happens on your device; availability is not guaranteed.
- Results are triage aids, not diagnoses. Grouping is deterministic normalisation: it organises a log, it does not establish root cause. Verify any group against its samples before acting on it, especially before changes to production systems.
- Redaction is pattern-based. It catches known secret shapes and is designed to fail visibly (a counts table shows what was caught), but it cannot guarantee a document is safe to share. You are responsible for reviewing anything before disclosing it.
- Crawler identification is by user-agent string only and does not verify the visitor's identity. Do not block, allowlist, or otherwise act on a crawler identity without independent verification (for example reverse-DNS).
Acceptable use
- Use the tools on logs you own or are authorised to process. The tools run locally, so no copy reaches the operator — responsibility for the data you process stays with you.
- Do not attempt to disrupt the hosting of the site, and do not misrepresent outputs of the tools as certifications of any kind (the tools measure and group; they do not certify).
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for losses arising from reliance on tool output, including decisions made during incident response. Incidents are high-pressure; the tools aim to make the evidence clearer, and the judgment stays human.
Changes
These terms may be updated as the tools evolve; the current version always lives at this URL. Material changes to data handling would also be reflected on the privacy page.
